| Properties | The product Artichok+ is a combination of standardized dry Artichoke leaf extract, the vitamins A, C and E, and the micro elements iron, manganese and zinc. Artichoke is grown in the countries of Southwest and South Europe, North Africa, South America and California and is a vegetable used for food.
The artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is among the earliest plants on the Earth to be grown by humans and has been known for 2000 years. Theophrastus, a disciple of Aristotle, is among the first who described in detail the plant and its useful properties.The leaves of the plant and the dry extract, prepared from them contain substances of high biological value (caffeylquinine acids, cynarine, lutheoline, flavonoids) which have a favorable effect on liver functions. One of the functions of the liver is to neutralize all toxins, resulting from the breakdown of food, alcohol and medicines and to eliminate (excrete ) them from the body with the bile.
